Handling of personal data

Due to the new data protection law GDPR which applies from 2018-05-25, MaskinSystem Europe AB has updated routines and systems to ensure that personal data is handled and stored in a way that meets the Data Inspection Authority’s requirements and recommendations. Below is a description of what information we store for various purposes and services and why.

This is how the data we collect and store is used

Personal data is stored to e.g. be able to offer, handle orders and purchases in the ongoing business operations. We collect personal data that is voluntarily provided to us, for example when purchases, inquiries or orders are made or through communication with us via e-mail. The data we collect includes name, postal address, phone number and email address in order for the collaboration to work in the best way.

Reasons for using your personal data

When we process personal data for the purposes explained in this policy, we use our legitimate interests in maintaining business relationships and communicating with you as the company’s contact person.

How we share the information we collect

Only the persons who need to process personal data for the aforementioned purposes have access to personal data. We may need to share certain personal data with our contractors and suppliers.

Storage

Personal data is saved for stated purposes up to 10 years in order for warranty obligations to be satisfied. If customers actively wish to unregister, data processing ceases and we remove personal data from our customer register. We then inform you that we cannot maintain the warranty period. Accounting material is archived for 7 years according to current law.

Security

We use security measures to protect personal data against loss and against unauthorized access to our databases. We regularly review our procedures to ensure our systems are safe and secure.

Customers’ choices and rights

Customers, suppliers, employees and partners always have the right to request an extract of what is registered in order to correct any incorrect data or delete the same.
